DOWNLOAD ENCRYPTION PACKAGE

The encryption package below is available to freely download at your own risk.

You should check that you are allowed to run this encryption package in your country before using it. Some countries place limits on the strength of encryption package that can be used.

The export of encryption packages is controlled by the Wassenaar Arrangement. Do not import or export this encryption package in breach of the arrangements applicable to your country.

Compatibility

The C++ Windows Version 4.10 and Linux Version 4.10 use the same algorithm and are compatible with one another. Files encrypted on the Windows platform can be decrypted on the Linux platform and vice versa. The encryption package has been enhanced to allow the automatic conversion of ASCII files between Unix and DOS file formats when an ASCII file is decrypted on a different platform to the one on which it was encrypted.

Code64 64-bit C++ Version (Version 4.10)

Version 4.10 supports dynamic memory allocation and has been enhanced to allow the automatic conversion of ASCII files between Unix and DOS file formats when an ASCII file has been encrypted using the Linux version.

The 64bit version allows variable key lengths from 2 characters (16 bit) to 8 characters (64 bit).

This version is backwards compatible with version 4.01 only.

It is suggested that this file is installed in the Windows, WINNT directory so that it is on the path.

code64 46 KB, KDevelop Version 1.2 - Runs on Red Hat Linux 7.0. Other Linux versions should be OK but have not been tested.

The software is shipped as a compressed Unix file. To uncompress it after downloading type uncompress code64.Z

It is suggested that this file is installed to /usr/bin so that it is on the path.
